Let me introduce myself, my name is Thomas Henry Meade-Whittaker, but everyone calls me Hank. I am 28 years old, living in Alameda. I like to go out to eat with friends, escape rooms, reading and gaming on my off time.

I currently go to school full time to get my degree in computer science. I am enthusiastic about computers, but even more than that I am passionate about reminding others that “Anyone can learn”.

All through school, I was happy to lend a hand to my classmates, whether it was with homework, projects, or anything else. During my senior year, I got my first taste of real tutoring when my neighbor needed help getting through a few classes. Much later, after working at a number of regular and unfulfilled jobs, I remembered my passion for helping others.

In 2022, as kids were struggling to get used to school again after the pandemic and zoom classes, I began offering my services as a tutor. I have had a number of clients since then, who have all moved up at least 1 letter grade, usually within the first two months of working together.

My goal is to work with you and/or your student to figure out the best way to understand the work for you. That way, when you've got other assignments, and especially when you've got a test, you don't have to worry about deciphering your teacher's lessons you can trust that you know the material yourself.
